Hit me, hit me but don’t hurt me
I love it when you don’t do that
You go to my bed with angry intent
Negligence bleeds in my bed of contempt
Appearances deceive each other again
Night after night
Commercials for emotional psychosis spinning in my head
Not much to speak of yet I talk in my sleep
I don’t speak your name
The way you’d never and don’t do
Don’t admit what you’d never admit
Don’t confess if it’s true
I wouldn’t believe you anyway
